Holly is engaged to actor Danny Quinn. She was married to Danny Quinn, an actor. The couple was divorced in 1993. In 1994, she dated Jim Carrey during auditions for Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. Although she didn't get the part of Ace Ventura the Pet Detective, they formed a bond when they worked on Dumb and Dumber. In 1996 they were married. When she was married Greco and in 2008, she obtained Canadian citizenship. They divorced in 2014. She performed in churches, restaurants, family holiday gatherings and anywhere within 30 miles of where she lived. Alaina was eight years old when she was crowned the winner of The Southern Stars Pageant's talent contest. She was then selected to sing on the Kids Talent stage at Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival. Performances on the stage continued until her 12th birthday and she was an award-winning participant in a competition that allowed her to take part on the stage. She traveled across the country to Orlando, Florida, when she was 10 to participate at the American Model and Talent Competition. She beat hundreds of children in the contest to take home the crown. Alaina was a part of the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association Children's Choir. When she was 12 years old, Alaina made her first of many trips to Nashville. She was a performer in Tootsie's Bar, which is a bar in the area on Broadway. Alaina was the winner of the WinniSTAR contest to showcase young talent in 2009 at Lake Winnepesaukah. She also created songs, such as Leaving and Set Me Free. Alaina the cousin of Holly Witherow with a brain cancer tumor, encouraged her to start singing. Alaina was a Pizza Hut employee prior to joining Idol. She was a graduate of Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe School, Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
