Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on the 31st of January 1974. Her most well-known role is for her role as Bo on the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk is an actor from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk are the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and plays the role of drama instructor in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories of playing rehearsals with her mom. Silk appeared as a little actress in commercials. Silk was a graduate of St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Her early theater experience includes two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto to pursue her acting profession in November 1999. She then, over the following decade relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an acting workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. After getting engaged in 2008, the couple married in 2009. The couple renewed their vows on April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton following the time that Silk was converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born May of 2013, and her son was who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, her second child was born 13 May 2016. Silk is well-known for her television role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she received nominations from the Gemini Awards. She landed a principal role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus, on the television show Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during filming of season three's finale and announced this to the viewers during Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter, on 20 June 2013, that production was underway for Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for the Fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her role as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top television Couples. E! named them the Top Television Couple for 2013.
